Sutekh So just what the **** is actually causing the delay. Obviously played some part in why Stam was hacked off after the QPR disaster as they expected him to be signed last Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest going by AU's prematch comments.

I can imagine exactly why he'd be worried about future signings (and therefore his team plan and ultimately his future) after this palava - and if it all goes tits up expect Reading to comfortably achieve that mid table obscurity place many of us thought would be ok at the start of the season.

guo palava [sic]

The Informant I genuinely couldnt give a rats if we sign him now or not.

Hes not built for the champ and will be bullied in this league. Brightons CB's are the blue print for defenders.

Jaap has prives tjat he is unable to organise a defence anyway.

Brightons CBs? You mean Lewis "got knocked out in a bar fight by just some bloke" Dunk and Shane "scored 2 own goals then got red carded before he could get a hat-trick" Duffy are the blueprint for CBs in the Champ?

They're the best CB pairing in the league by quite some distance you clueless idiot.

Go back to worrying about your potatoes because football seems a bit above you. Like most on here it would appear.

What tool are you using to measure the distance between them and the second best Cb pairing?

I think a troll would have had a better insult than "clueless idiot"..
Surely all idiots are clueless by definition anyway?

Bit in The Sun this morning saying the transfer has stalled due to the ongoing takeover talks.

If the Premier League block the takeover would we see that as a good thing or a bad thing?

If they block it, it is because they must think these Chineses buyers are just Zingarevich in disguise. They might run our great club into the ground. The Premier League might be doing us a favour by blocking the deal. It's a good job they are there doing the due dilligence. The Thai's don't really give a sh*t. They just want their money and then they're out.

In the short term it might look like we are missing out on Thiago and anyone else that Stam had lined up for the window. We might also lose Stam himself as a result. But in the long run we might be better off for it. The Premier League are cautious. They don't want to lose a famous old football club in Reading. The demise of Reading would be a great tragedy for English football. Do the Chinese really have the money? Do they really intend to blow their money on our club?

Wasn't the money for the Tiago Ilori transfer supposedly coming from Tiger though? It honestly sounds like the Sun have made a story out of the takeover and the transfer delay.

I think we can be reasonably positive that the PL couldn't give a flying f**k about Reading FC.
