The most worrying thing is that the team have never looked like they had any belief at all. Even Brian could get his teams believing that they had a shot against the bigger clubs.

We just turned up the make up the numbers today.

Al Habsi on the ball was an accident waiting to happen but it just HAD to happen on Live TV in a big game vs. Man Utd. At least the consolation is we were going out anyway.

Sutekh Habsi **** up yet again with possession. Really not comfortable with this style of play.
and what a dumb-arsed ball to play back in front of goal with Rashford advancing

Come off it, it was lack of confidence with the ball at his feet, not pressure from the pass/Rashford that led to the mistake.

leon Stam dropped a massive bollock with the team today. Not impressed at all.

Not sure why he took Evans off at all, either.

What a moronic response you've just made. He never said Reading should beat Man Utd but in the long term, having a keeper that uncomfortable on the ball as shown is not going to help us move forward.

Also he saying Al Habsi is not comfortable with this style, not himself personally.

Thank god that's over - feel for the fans who made such an effort for a team that made none.

Anyway, let's hope normal service is resumed soon.

I've seen pre-season friendlies that were more hotly contested than that.

I guess if you accept that AAH is a great shot stopper but can't play football with his feet, then I suppose it was dumb-arsed! Are we going to end up with another Clarke situation with the manager having to tell his players not to pass the ball to the keeper? If so, then I'm afraid AAH's days as our Number 1 are very limited.

Exactly. Our style of play seems to be working in the league but Al Habsi is not comfortable on the ball which restricts using him on the ball.

sadly, AAH's inability to shank the ball into the heavens was not in doubt,

Hold my hands up.... thought he was saying he was still uncomfortable with the style of play. Now I realise he meant AAH I am inclined to agree.
