Team with most ex Reading players at one time?

by CountryRoyal » 14 Jan 2017 22:44

Probably a thread for GF so move if necessary, and probably a thread already in existence so equally delete if necessary, but seeing a picture of Anton Ferdinand and Cox in Southend together together got me thinking.

They have Cox, Ferdinand and Mooney, I know last season they had Hunt and I feel someone else, but what club has had the most amount of ex-reading players on their books at any one time?

Anyone care to throw about some ideas? Has to be more entertaining than dwelling over Thursday, the uncertainty of out owner situation and Stam.

Another mention is Wolves. Didn't they have Hahnemann, Doyle and S.Hunt all together briefly? Or was the latter at Hull.

If rumours are to be believed it would seem the Spanners want Sigurdsson and Long to join Antonio at the Tax Payers Stadium.

Forest had quite a few at one point (Harding, Cox, Halford), with us also having a lot of their ex-players (Gunter, McCleary, Sharp). Also playing in that game were Chalobah and Mackie.

Connolly, Morrison and Le Fondre at Cardiff.

Both Hunts and Tabb at Ipswich.

Hector, Ake, Swift and Piazon at Chelsea...sort of, though not all ex as that was last year.

And in similar theory at Bournemouth you had Kermorgant with Afobe, Murray and Federici.

Both Ivar and Sonko also went to Ipswich. Im sure thats not all, as I have in the past referred to Ipswich as Reading B.

Yep. Halford + Colin. Even more reasons to loathe Cardiff beyond their winderful fans.
