Can someone help me...

I like Huddersfield and hope they go up. Is this a fair view to have? Or is there a reason I should hate them and wish them to fail?

Thanks,
Bobby

I'm the same. Primarily because it would not be what the mainstream media expect/accept: Newcastle, Brighton, Leeds, Villa, Norwich, Derby, Sheff W.

No fair enough. Was also hoping they'd win and Newcastle lose yesterday. Would love to see them go up at their expense

I would rather it was Newcastle and Huddersfield that went up, but we rather hindered that last night

Agreed. Would prefer this to the Brighton football martyrs. We need to roll over at home to Newcastle at home in a few days, it is only fair after we did the same last night. Also, if we play Barcelona of Sussex in the play offs how often does it seem that teams that comfortably beat their play off opponents in the regular season then coming unstuck against the same club in a play off scenario.

Well yeah would rather see Brighton not go up as well. But on balance think Newcastle screwing it up may be marginally more funny

+1 They're another breathe of fresh air, like we were or Burnley or Blackpool or going back further Bradford.

Brighton would be the same if their fans weren't so up themselves with delusions of grandeur.

I'd love Huddersfield to win the league, let alone go up.

If we want to boost our promotion hopes now and in subsequent seasons assuming we don't go up this season, I believe it's in our best interests that Newcastle go up automatically. They are much bigger than anyone in this division and have always shown to pull big crowds regardless, they won't go away, Geordies seem to be a glutton for punishment.

Brighton oxf*rd up automatic promotion would be hilarious but speaking from our own promotion dreams, I think we'd do better against Brighton if we had to face them in the play-offs, yes I know they dismantled us efficiently yesterday but I think at their best, Huddersfield can be even more ruthless and hopefully Stam will have learnt from yesterday.

+1.

Dislike Rafa. Always have.
Like Chris Hughton. Always have.
Like Newcastle fans, but hate media obsession with the club.
Like Huddersfield. ...Only recently though.
Ideal scenario for me now: Huddersfield champions. Brighton scrape through at Newcastle's expense on final day. Newcastle, distraught, lose in playoff semis. Then it's just up to us...

Norwich 0-1 Ipswich

I like how the results the past couple have games seem to have softened our collection of 0pts

EDIT: 1-1 I spoke too soon! Perhaps it was naive to rely on Ipswich.

You know, to be fair they've held us, Brighton and Norwich in recent weeks, maybe they are good for nabbing a draw.

Been lucky with the results this weekend, could have been a lot worse. would have taken a draw from that game certainly

Newcastle's next three games for them are huge. They could put themselves top and comfortably clear of third or find themselves in about 4th.

Looking at that, all the run ins seem pretty similar. Really not sure Fulham or Norwich have the consistency to pull back and retain the gap over any of the top 6. Think we will see the same clubs in the top 6 come May, just not sure in what order.

If Brighton win tomorrow, they look on the home stretch.
