Carvahal, sacked by Wednesday, gets a job by Thursday.

Championship to the Premier League as well. It’s a funny old game...

All about money now for many foreign owned football clubs.

Watched that Cardiff second half. A thoroughly dismal game. Cardiff are being found out. Hugill looked a pain in the backside and would do well for us.

Shame we didn't get him at the time. Think that ship sailed a long time ago. We are not an attractive place for players to go anymore.

Quite possibly true. Did think when we had our mini-revival (think we were within a point or two of Preston at one stage) we’d possibly have a decent chance. Not sure now, esp with them being on the brink of the play off spots

Cough up a transfer fee and offer him a decent pay rise and he'll respond like any other player would.

Doubt it Ian, as usual you are incorrect. Why would a player go from a top 8 team where he is number 1 striker to a crap team such as Reading. Even if we was offered 20k a week extra (doubtful at reading) he would not drop down the league. He would rather be PL

Because footballers like money and it's easy to convince footballers of future ambitions if you wave a wad of notes in their faces.

And his chances of getting to the PL this season with Preston are hardly great.

There are regularly examples of players moving sideways for wonga.

PNE have as good a chance if anyone else in the play off mix. Prem league wages >>>> whatever we would pay

Things getting interesting at h/t. Burton, Bolton winning. Norwich, Sheff Weds losing. If Brum beat us tmrw it’s suddenly becoming any 3 from 7 or 8

Burton, Bolton, Barnsley, QPR all winning :?

Down to 18th as it stands.

Also means Birmingham have to win tomorrow, otherwise they'll be cut adrift a bit.

Burton 3-0 up. Sheff Weds must be awful

Tomorrow’s game is actually pretty massive for us. Putting all the Stam stuff aside that 3 points make a huge difference for us

Don't think the results today (if they stay the same) could have gone much worse. We HAVE to take 3 pts tomorrow.
