I quite like salad, not a fan of flannel.

In retrospect, I think "swivel-eyed loon" might have been more appropriate than "melt" for John Smith.

Preston and Ipswich both losing - would take that tonight

Watching the Ipswich game - they look pretty useless. Brentford decent but we knew that

Watching it too - atmosphere at Portman Road dreadful. Not sure I agree with this televised mid week thing, must be affecting crowds particularly away followings.

I wonder how many we'll get tomorrow? I'd say 13k tops.

Yeah it’s a bit of a weird one isn’t it?

Quite like it for the rubbish away games like Blackburn where I’ve been able to watch whereas normally I wouldn’t - but would almost rather the home ones weren’t on tv

But I suppose as pretty much everything regarding Sky’s EFL it’s for the ‘big’ clubs really

Hmm Brentford a right mess this half, esp from set pieces - absolutely fallen to bits

Be lucky to escape with a draw

Good set of results for us really, stay 3rd bottom

Ipswich look terrible and would be suprised if they don’t have a relegation battle on their hands

Brentford put in a bizarrely dreadful 2nd half. Their two subs came on and put on proper 1/10 performances - awful. They look very dodgy from set pieces which gives me some hope for our game next week. Do look good going forward though

Was left out of the Palace PL Squad, so was available for loan. Imagine Palace wanted him to stay in England in case they want to call him back in Jan so had to drop down a level. Was between Villa & Boro I think.

Not being a smart arse here-I just remember Everton paying what I thought was way over the odds for him.

They had that Terry wage to spend. Arguably Bolasie is more worth it than scumbag Terry.

He was fresh off a good season with Palace and started decently if I'm not mistaken. Everton overspend quite a bit it seems.

That Terry wage almost screwed them over + u add in a Tammy Abraham and a Tuanzebe.
Hoping they will learn a lesson soon with the spending habits.

Speaking of the man I'm surprised we didn't know, given our Chelsea contacts, Abraham was available for a championship loan. I know Cardiff wanted him and we're not the most attractive club but I would have taken him on loan for a season over buying Baldock and McNulty.

They have lower parachute payments this year, and they run out altogether next year. Could be in trouble unless they get promoted
£15 mill this season compared to £33mill last season

Ye, but Villa?! In the Championship? Honestly.

Surely someone like a West Ham or Newcastle would have taken him?
