Err yes, they have used a picture of Jaap holding the manager of the month trophy, would have thought it would go to either Norwich or Leeds, their records were better over the month.

EDIT: Actually looking back, most teams played 3/4 games in Jan and we played 6, maybe the additional games are what tipped it in Stam's favour, the 3-2 turnaround probably helped too.

Just a note on that song, don't get me wrong, I'm in favour of anything that gets the crowd going a bit and it's nice that lots of people know it and get involved but it just seems a tad illogical. Sheffield Wednesday are a big club who have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football. I know we've been there, but 3 seasons hardly constitutes an established place of being warranting of justifying being "on our way back" to.

I just feel it would make more sense for us to sing it if we were in a relegation battle and likely to go down.

We started January in 3rd and ended it in 3rd. At one stage we dropped to 5th mainly due to timings of games. Even for a jump of 2 places that seems like hyperbole. I guess in an age when 110% just isn't enough it's to be expected.
