Brighton are relishing beating us to kill off our automatic hopes once and for all, I hope for at least a draw to boost our own play-off hopes and retain a glimmer of hope for the autos.

Also stopping Brighton getting automatic promotion would be hilarious considering they have been talking about the Premier League for months now.

That said I still want all the teams around us to lose but Hudders could be a point behind Brighton by the time our game starts.

I think realistically our auto hopes went with the Hudders' game. A good performance and a point or more would do our play off hopes plenty of good though.

Seagulls are horrible birds. Basically pigeons of the sea. Why you'd want that on your badge I have no idea.

IN for - Huddersfield nicking 2nd place from Brighton, and us beating Leeds then Brighton in the play offs to go up.

It's written in the stars.

windermereROYAL Anybody watching it in town be aware that the Irish egg chasers are on at the same time. ONeills will be a no go. probably the walkabout too.

Walkabout are showing it upstairs.

I'm on a David De Gea in Reading on Sat, but I ain't from around these parts. Any recommendations of where to watch?

Three Guineas has just been refurbed very nicely. I often like Wild Lime in the day (2 for 1 Coronas before 7 I think, if you're that way inclined). Pavlov's Dog another reasonable shout as I think they have a large screen.

Yates's would also be a safe bet with large and plentiful screens upstairs.

Cheers. Think I might've watched Chelsea v Newcastle in the Wild Lime last season, rings a bell anyway. Will check it out.

Would always go to the Nags Head to watch it but am going to this game.

They will have 1 screen showing the rugby and 1 showing the football

Despite the loss on Tuesday, I still believe it is all very much to play for.

Beat Brighton and I think they may crumble psychologically, for us mentally it would be huge going into the games against Wolves and Newcastle who btw have lost Dwight Gayle for a month so no main focal striker in their side at the moment.

Most teams in this division have a dodgy patch even the top 2 over the season, I would like to think we have had ours and I would probably say Newcastle had theirs with a few mediocre draws over December - January. Brighton however are due theirs.

We were 5 points off top after 33/34 ish games in 2011/12. Beat Brighton and we'll be 5 points off 2nd.

That's definitely doable. Lose and we'll be 11 points off, which really isn't.

Yeah but didn't we win something like 14/17 in the run in 2011/12?

I don't think we should use that as a benchmark of "doable". (Yes yes I know technically that is therefore by definition doable but that's like saying you only needed 68 pts to make playoffs one year so that's the goal).

Brighton fans can be pretty cringey.
People talking of drums?
No need tomorrow, when Brighton fans step up to the plate there's not too many clubs that can equal it
Sheffield Wednesday fans at the Amex for the play offs last season will vouch for that
Remember at the goldstone in 97(fighting for survival) Cambridge manager said it was the most intimidating atmos he's heard, never forget that night in north stand it was mental
All day drinking 5:30 kick off, tomorrow will be electric
Reading fans beware, put your earplugs in, you're gonna get battered by a wall of sound

People who are there, let us know how intimidating their atmosphere is.

I'm sure you'll be able to hear it from home. In fact you'll probably be able to hear much better than the people at the ground, who will completely lose their hearing.

Someone should go on the Wednesday forum and see if Wednesday fans really do "vouch for that".
