Royal Rother A few observations....

I've seen 4 or 5 games from my armchair this season and I haven't enjoyed a single one.

It's been dire.

More fun watching Non-league football yesterday and Sunday league this morning.

That said, the fact we are where we are is a decent achievement so the TV games have obviously not been representative of the season as a whole.

I think we will drop out of the play offs.

AAH Was terrible in every respect yesterday.

I didn't think Blackett was too bad.

At the start of the season various members of the Dutch management team talked about how the loan system didn't work, it destabilised the team last year and we wouldn't do the same again - and how this "project" was going to be all about the development from within, promoting the youngsters.

Bullshit.

I think we're nailed on for play-offs personally, if we were going to drop out, even temporarily I feel it would have been from teams capitalising on our recent tough run of fixtures which so far they haven't done. I'll worry if we don't beat Wolves on Saturday in a game we should really win.

Even if we do drop out over our tough run of fixtures, our last 4 games should see us back in, against teams we've beaten 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and 3-0 so far this season.

I honestly believe Meite could be the answer to our goalscoring problems, whenever he comes on he looks strong and fast,

Can be said for many goals we've conceded this season. One begins to question whether the formation (4-3-3) is working with the players currently in the squad. Far too often we have 5 players jogging/walking back after losing possession. Leaving the opposition acres of space to play in. While it's admirable that Yann chases back. It's not his role in the team. Too many players simply go missing.

Completely agree with this. To me it looks like Stam is trying to play 3-4-3 when we have the ball and 5-4-1 when we don't. You are exactly right in what you say - when we eventually get the ball over the half way line we have a headrush and all pile forward, including our two "wing backs". Inevitably our over-passing results in us losing the ball in the final third and teams break against our three remaining defenders, overwhelming us with pace and numbers. As I said before the game, the team selection was actually okay but they're just being set up completely wrong.

AthleticoSpizz Apart from our sustainable current league position?

0 points from 6 expected
0 points recieved

Chill down

Sorry that's utter bollocks.

0 points from teams we're competing with is expected?

Fcuk off. That's loser talk.

It's been an appalling few days. Stam needs to earn his money. This team needs some bollocks. It doesn't have any.
dont hold back Leon

Might be "loser talk" but ithis is the real world.

Whilst one or two points would've been preferable, the reality is that these teams are simply better than us.

Again, god help us when we win the play-offs

Another player with huge potential. Obviously not ready for the demands of week in week out delivering consistant performances. With off field antics lacks the maturity currently.

This is just what we need to win the play offs. This is a a wake-up call, a reality check, the players will get back to work and we will be unbeaten the rest of the season (including the play offs).

The Gnome has spoken.

Dennis the Butler Should have cashed in on Gunter when we had the chance IMHO ..

Been saying that for a year now, time to give Watson a run

24 hours on, and still pissed off. But time is the perfect healer; and I'm not as furious as this time yesterday. Although while it was a bad performance from pretty much the whole team bar Moore and Williams (imo), I don't think one reaction was justified at all - I heard a chant from the B block area that went something like "He's ISIS, you know .. The fella we've got in goal". If I haven't misheard it, then quite frankly it's disgusting that you'd sing something like that to your own player. I heard something about similar chanting at the Arsenal game now that I think about it. I didn't exactly see who was doing it though so I didn't report it - did anyone else hear/see this?

Did anyone notice Sidwell smack Kermie on the back of the head as he ran past him? Looks like he needed to give Yann more retribution for that season ending challenge on Rosenior in the home game.

Sorry, but playing well in 2 out of 12 matches just isn't good enough.

Kebe used to get slaughtered for having a similar strike rate.

Yep we got it, you don't like Mccleary....
