The Informant We'd beat Weds and Leeds over two legs.

We'd have a chance against Hudds

I fear Fulham away - may just be the bad experience earlier this season.

I want Fulham to drop out and I want Leeds away in the first leg.

Wrong fred?

Nameless Surely it should be predictable ?
A 'best team' based on the season shouldn't' be full of left field choices.
And it's pretty reasonable for it to come from the best teams.
A team of the year featuring Rotherham, Blackburn and Wigan players would be very odd !

to an extent, yeah.Still doesnt stop it being pretty boring though.

Though Fulham aren't one of the best teams and yet have 2 players in the side.

I think you could also argue if Newcastle have 3 players in the team, esp with the rest of the squad they have, how are they only 6 pts ahead of us?

Not going to argue though as it would be about as boring a discussion as the team itself

Hound Swift up for the young player award as well. A little surprised but he was excellent before Christmas. Certainly winning the award should add a few quid to his value if nothing else

Didn't watch it, but sounds like he played pretty well for England U21s last night, so hopefully coming back into his best form.

Hes up against Ryan Ledson and Ollie Watkins. I have no idea who they are.

Ryan Ledson was an it-kid at Everton but has now signed for Oxford  Apparently Watkins is at Exeter. So it's a Football League award rather than a Championship one, and no surprise that we haven't seen much of the contenders.

Speaking of ex-Everton youngsters - I was checking up on Jose Baxter and was  to see:
a) he's currently serving a drug ban.
b) he's re-signing for Everton when his ban ends.

Why are Everton interested in a 24-year-old League One midfielder?

Bit tangential but remember Gerard Deulofeu? Looked really good for Everton against us last season but fell out with Koeman. He's having a pretty ordinary loan at AC Milan, but now Barcelona want him back. Presumably it's to help with their HG quota?
