Just noticed this is Geoff Eltringham's 8th Reading game - and all have been away games. W2 D3 L2, so another draw would be symmetrical.

Ian Royal
Sutekh Reading XI : Habsi, Gunter, Blackett, Moore, Obita, Berg, Beerens, Swift, McCleary, Kermorgant, Williams

Subs : Legg, Mendes, Meite, Popa, Watson, Oxford, Grabban

Pretty much our best available XI IMO. I assume that Evans and Kelly are out given they haven't made the bench

Hang on, how can we have a million midfielders, but none on the bench!?

Are GROFLavenberch, WeiseROFL, Quinn, Kelly, Evans, and Mutch ALL injured?! What about Barrett, or Frost, or Rinomhota... surely it's better to have any midfielder than none and three strikers and a winger. The fact that Mendes has made the bench again is a pretty telling sign that half our squad is out.

Oh yeah, I forgot normal games start at 7.45. We've already kicked off.

You forget that Stam plays Grabban as a midfielder

Mendes is one of our best players this season I think his goals have been key in our promotion push.

Didn't know about Oxford, 3points....

I'd tried to forget about Grabban in midfield Sutekh...

Wednesday sound happy to let us have it. Which is odd given we're 1-0 up away from home.

Berg and Blackett winding up the Wednesday fans with some 'robust' challenges. The last thing we want to do is rile the crowd and give the Wednesday players an adrenaline lift.

Big save from Al-Habsi off Rhodes or Winnall to keep us ahead.

Seems like Wednesday have picked up and are now pressing us hard. Getting through this without conceding is going to be challenging.

That was pretty good. Some of the best football we've played all season. Despite that we've got to be careful with sitting back, Wednesday for all their shitness still look dangerous in the right areas. Get the feeling that if they score bouyed on by the crowd they will go on to win. Next goal is vital.

Big injury in Udders game that meant about 10 - 15 minutes of first half added time. Might have had an impact on their performance.

Stephen Fletcher on for them. He scored that late consolation for them at our place.

Meantime Reading sounding comfortable but not really creating all that much meaning it's all going to get rather squeaky.....
