genome I'm still in disbelief that he fell for Yermas Dildo

I would have been in doubt the moment I saw the surname, it's hardly subtle.

Low needs to go!! Apparently the 'Bill Oddie' song was adopted about 5 years ago.......So why do I remember us singing it way before that?!

Quite honestly, Watts wasn't any better. Poorly constructed match reports, numerous selling and grammatical errors and too much of his opinion which was usually wrong from the games I attended. GR has been dire for years but the way local newspapers/websites work now we will never go back to the good old days.

Ugh... I loved Ulderink saying "we want to win the game against Burton, we are sportsmen"

Its important to keep a winning philosophy based on performance.

To be fair to him, I said something similar a few weeks ago. I don't actively want us to lose against Burton, but having the 1st leg at home wouldn't be the end of the world.

My preference for league finish would be 3rd >>> 5th >>>>>> 4th

Yeah it's an opinion. Not necessarily the right one but I can sort of see the logic

Don't mind that too much, it's the lack of any useful updates and match reports a 10 year old could write that bother me

Watts was excellent. When you see the quality of journalism nowadays he was as good as any local reporter. I genuinely enjoyed reading GR when he was the reporter

I follow the Chronic guys now on the twitter. Anthony Smith and Courtney Friday.

They are both decent. Very good coverage of the press conferences. They cover them superbly.

To be honest, my fav twitter is probably Talk Reading. No Agendas, no need for page views, which leads to easy news at my fingertips without needing to go to a web page. If I could only follow one Reading FC twitter account, it would probably be that one.

This is not a slant against people like TTE, who are also great and I love their pod, however, when I am on the twitters, I just want my news and keep scrolling.

Come to mention it, I would like TTE to be included more officially with the club, and I think that eventually, that will happen. They put in good work, and deserve to be there IMO.

Talk Reading is good for news and distributing other people's analysis, not really geared towards offering any insight. TTE is really good for this, their match reports and tactical breakdowns are usually really interesting.

Get Reading does neither really.

Agreed - I also notice that quite a few players RT and favourite things they've put out there.

Someone said it doesn't offer insight - which is one of he reasons I like it. It just puts out pictures, or past results, or things about the club with no opinion. Good for news, reminiscing and keeping up to date.

Also I don't get all the love for CW. People messaging him on twitter saying to come back and hailing him like some sort of hero leaves me bemused.

CW's journalistic writing style pissed me off just as much. Too personal.

His only saving grace is he did seem to post slightly more interesting things.

I mean, I don't think he's very good and I enjoy taking the mick about it on here, but it'd never make me angry enough to actual tweet the man with insults
