Let's Really Get Behind The Team Tomorrow

by Royal_jimmy » 06 May 2017 08:49

Because a win means:

- 3rd place, 3rd placed team goes up about 39% of the time
- A Saturday game
- No grim trip ooop north
- No crazy sub 6am start
- No hotels
- No big travel expenses or 3+ hour journeys
- Beers on the train there

Actually, selfishly I want Fulham in the semis.

As I'm not a STH I won't get a ticket so at least with Fulham I know a couple of their fans that might be able to sort us out with a home end one.

The only guy I know that supports Wednesday is a dick.

Huddersfield fans I know are chelski fans that have some allegiance to Huddersfield and so therefore "support" them, without ever actually having been.

Surely if it's a trip to Yorkshire you'll get a ticket in the away end?

For the playoffs??

I'd be really surprised if we didn't sell out the allocation before it got to members only, regardless of the location.

Fair enough, I'm not entirely convinced we'd sell out a trip to Yorkshire at noon on a Sunday. I know I wouldn't bother!

Happy to be proved wrong of course

Not really. Sadly and embarrassingly, we didn't sell our allocation for the Wolves away semi back in 2003 even after it went on sale to the general public.

Didn't we take 4,000 to Bradford for a noon kickoff in Yorkshire a couple of years ago?

We've come a long way since then. We will sell out comfortably

4,200 in fact and yes we did for arguably a less big game

Pretty sure United this season was a noon kick off as well, and whilst yes it's Manchester United, there was nothing really to play for whereas the Bradford game could have ended up with Wembley.

There's definitely demand, it just depends how likely they think we are to win so it's hard to gauge. Obviously with it being two legs it's not quite as "make or break", but Bradford went to a replay anyway.

What did we take to Burnley in 08/09?

Not many went to Burnley and we only got 18k for the 2nd leg which was pathetic considering we were only 1 down. SC last game in charge a grim night all round.

According to Low we should be hoping for a defeat. I've gone from reading GetReading religiously under Watts to only visiting for a giggle and a vent under Low.

Let's hope we ignore this dimwit and claim 3 points, a win and momentum going into 3 massive games

Someone's bright idea to situate us in the lower tier underneath the Wolves fan. A m8 of mine had a cup of piss thrown over him

We sold 1,700 of our 2k allocation at Burnley
