Am unable to attend tomorrow.

Day will be a blur. Not be able to concentrate on anything. Ales will start around "Sky 406 time". By 5.30, I will be on edge, big time.
Sky TV on, couple of mates round, and a few cans.

Most barmy thing is...I am 56. Been to Simod Cup final, 1995 final....and indeed a season ticket holder for the last 36 years. Yet still, the nerves and passion are there. Personal reasons dictate my absence tomorrow, but whatever the result I will be in the Monks early Tuesday awaiting the second leg.

Once Reading...always Reading.

In the morning Ill probably just stick £50 on fulham to win 4-1, then go out with the winnings in the evening

Good luck tomorrow guys, just watching the local news and reckon you are due a bit of a break in the play offs. A while since I've seen Forest in them and our form is dire at the semi final stages. They really are arse twitching occasions.

Selfishly I can see you depriving me of a local away trip next season.

Putney for several pre match beers. A stagger to craven cottage. Watch the game through 90 nervous minutes through the gaps in my fingers. Back to Putney for (hopefully celebratory) post match beers
Sore head on Sunday.

Thanks m8 - congrats on staying up, that's a big achievement considering how close it all was

I am the biggest jinx going so I'll be avoiding the TV until after the game has finished.

Luckily No.1 son needs a lift back to uni so we'll leave home c5:30 and it'll take me about 3hours. should just about cover it unless there's a serious amount of injury time.

Sadly for us all, if we win the tie I'll be there at Wembley, so that puts paid to us winning

You could consider crashing the car if you think
you'll be back to early...nothing nasty but something
that'll eat up a bit of time

Reading won the penalty shootout 2-1 too.

I think that gives a good indication how today may pan out.

Ive been moving house since 430 this morning and all this labour has meant I could murder a beer and a football match. There is literally nothing else I want more right now than a lager. Probably should have got the tickets, then.

I feel like there's something wrong with me! I'm on edge now and will be heading to the pub for about 4. Going, as usual to try and drink my bodyweight in lager whilst watching and swearing at the TV. If we win, I may hit the Jaeger....

Anyone else completely forget the game was today? I only realised after browsing twitter earlier.

I've spent the day looking after the baby, and am going to view a house later this afternoon, followed by a Eurovision party. The football isn't important.

Can't quite believe how melty most of you are being.
