2017/18 odds

by JR » 29 May 2017 22:50

If you're optimistic that Jaap will stay, our Chinese owners will invest and we will have benefitted from this season's experience and really kick on next year, then you can currently get 25/1 on us to win the league next year with Sky Bet (and just over 6/1 to finish in top 3).

I think it's a cracking price, particularly given that none of the relegated teams will be anywhere near promotion next season. So biggest risks are Fulham, Villa and Jaap leaving for a bigger job.

Other bookies have us at around 12/1.

Just seen they've got us at 6/1 to win promotion. Other teams at 6/1 including last day relegation survivor's Birmingham and newly promoted Sheffield United.

10 teams more fancied than us including the likes of Gary Monk-less Leeds (5/1), footballer-less Sunderland (9/2), Wolves (9/2) and Derby (7/2).

Here we go again.

Did he really say that? If so then that's bloody great news ... I was a bit worried that someone from the PL would poach him

Odds to win the league have tumbled overnight from 25/1 to 20/1 as hundreds of Reading fans lump on........

How often is the losing play-off finalist seen as 12th favourite for promotion the next season?

Oh that was for Championship winner.

We're now at 66/1 to win the league, 18/1 to be promoted and 7/1 to be relegated with Sky Bet

Wolves are current favourites for promotion
