I'm glad it's not just me that thought that!

On goalies - we need
someone who can deal with horrible shanked backpasses from a panicky Blackett
someone who is comfortable with the ball at their feet
can pass accurately to a defender
can actually aim long kicks vaguely at an intended target
someone who can stay awake passing back and forth with the back 4, waiting for a midfielder to come out of hibernation and make themselves available
who can command their area for corner kicks
    and is a good shotstopper
.

How much will that cost us?

And can we throw in a dab hand at penalty stopping.

Does every contract have to have a release clause just because Gunter and Al Habsi had one?

I thinks it's becoming part and parcel with most contracts. Considering his increase in reputation, ability and age I would presume his agent would have demanded one.
Isn't this his second contract in the last 6 months?
His last one was less likely to have one as he hadn't gotten as much media attention.

Good luck to him, definitely potential there. Is it all season?

I dunno, maybe he didn't get on with Stam, maybe he has an attitude problem but for me it just beggars belief that Fosu, an Academy graduate, our stand out player last pre-season coming after a brilliant cameo against Derby at the end of the previous season, wasn't given an opportunity here.

And that instead we spent money on Beerens.
