Nope, complete opposite.

Very good defensively, is quick and can be dangerous. I think he will be a good fit for Reading.

I was underwhelmed when he signed for Fulham but he proved me wrong.

Is he worth the fee and a 4 year contract? Well neither set of fans know the full details of the contract so who knows. A 4 year contract is always a risk but suspect it is for amortization purposes for FFP.

Think he will fit in well with Reading and you should be happy that your board has signed a key player from a rival team and Stan was desperate to sign him.

Just like any other energy drink. The apple one is actually really nice, they were giving out samples at the play off final.

RichTea94 Remember when we played a midfield of 4 wingers under Adkins? It didn't go well.

I think it was Obita-McAnuff-McCleary-Drenthe?

I think obita actually played centre midfield. That was Bournemouth away a few years back and we were awful. Those were they days obita was still going on about beige able to play in central midfield.

Get the feeling Aluko is the one Stam really wanted this summer above all overs

Also being as we played against him 5 times or whatever, would have had plenty of feedback from our players on his qualities

I guess this demonstrates that Financial Fair Play is finally dead and buried? - not that it ever existed for 'big' clubs like QPR who seemed to be allowed to breach the regulations at will and without effective sanction.

It depends how the deals are structured. I doubt we're paying out £7.5m in one lump sum, I expect it's spread over the life of his contract and incentivised, so we won't be making significant losses due to this transfer. It's just another way clubs can skirt round it. Most Championship clubs will be doing it though. And given PSG are making a mockery of FFP with the Mbappe loan/buy deal, they seriously need to go and have a re-think about the whole thing.

Good signing on paper. Reported fee can't be true can it?

Our attacking options look great right now. Poor Mendes has shot down the pecking order. Having Aluko/McCleary and Barrow/Popa as our options on either flank is exciting. I cant see Beerens playing as much this season.

Good cover for injury.

toppy
Winston Biscuit Aberdeen would get 1.5% of the transfer fee as a FIFA mandated solidarity payment.

Maybe thick - but why?

I could be wrong but doesn't FIFA's rule brought in a couple of years back cover all clubs up to the players 23rd birthday so Rangers, Brum & Aberdeen would get a small amount each?

current age doesn't matter, the rule is to compensate the developing clubs throughout the players career via transfer fees.

I am confused at some of the detail though. Was just reading on the old Solidarity Mechanism before it was updated and it said that one prominent case was Robbie Keane moving from Leeds to Spurs. When it happened Crumlin United in Ireland were due money as he was there as a schoolboy. A year afterwards it was challenged and overturned and they had to give the money back.
