Gus the teenage cow A profound question I'm sure you'll agree but a pertinent one, and if I be so bold, a necessarily pertinent one...where the f**k are we going under the Chinese? At the moment the voices that speak to me are saying "Play-offs at best" and that's not what we want to hear.
I would like them to formulate a plan and to put it simply rather than tread water I want us to sink or swim
Option 1: Invest big, better to go bankrupt going for the big time than swim in an endlessly mid-table pond or fish-bowl or whatever noun makes this analogy work
Option 2: Be financially savvy, develop local players, accept the fact we'll be relegated but delight in having a squad that were all born within. let's say, 5,000km from Reading city centre. Become a latter-day Crewe Alexandra
.....but I, and I hope I speak for all the fans here, will not tolerate a kind of halfway house neither here not there, purgatory (this means between heaven and hell)

NewCorkSeth Is this the guy who made an equally troll like post last summer that I fell for hook, line and sinker?

Libertine Hi Gus!
Where are we going? How about Sailing the Seas of Cheese? I am thinking you would approve since they are dairy products.
And then we'll figure it out once we get to wherever we end up...

As a massive Primus fan - I'll be very happy to go to sail the seas of cheese
