maffff He's been here two years, he's just finished coaching bashes, probably got a manager offer. Not sure he'll learn much more staying in the same environment. Been a good asset by all accounts, hope he does well for himself. No reason to assume it's anything beyond professional and amicable. No need to panic.

Know for a fact Stam loved having him at the club and his knowledge of the English game is superb
He wants to get into management and feels it's not fair to Stam and the club to leave half way through the season

Not strictly true from what I've heard, apparently he was a disruptive influence at times.
