New drinking game. Take a shot everytime JvdB passes to an opposition player, down your drink every time his pass is intercepted.

Redeemed himself there. He's great at running a man down.

Barrow, again, looking our best player. Shame nothing comes of his great movement on and off the ball.

Utter drivel listening to this on the radio. No end produce in there, players uninterested and not even trying. We will be playing the might of Rochdale and rotherham in league 1 next season at this rate

Not what I'm watching for what it's worth. We look very positive today.

Lots and lots of build up from Reading, but not much end product.....sounds a bit familiar..... Mick McCarthy knows how to buy strikers!

Some people never learn. Patience, patience, patience, GREAT CHANCE, patience, patience ... hopefully goal.

When we control games like this, we've always got a great chance of suddenly turning it on and scoring a goal. Yes, we do sometimes suicide. But that'll happen much less often than the goals coming, at home at least.

We failed to score in just four home games last season.

Some of the best stuff we've played in absolute ages. Final ball and end product not quite there, but if it was, this game would already be over.

Some lovely stuff on Twatter:
Villa fans chant 'John Terry, he's won more than you' which Reading fans rather aptly sing straight back

Reading have made 246 passes so far, we've made 23. 23 passes. The entire team. 23. Passes. #AVFC

'Greed. We would look incredible if we could find that final ball.

This side would be much more dangerous if we weren't afraid to shoot the bloody ball. Better than Fulham though. Obviously we are crying out for a striker, I think when we have someone like a Kermorgant or even Bod in the mix we will be looking very dangerous
