Didn't go to the Millwall cup game, so it's felt like an age since the Villa game (24 days).

It must be up there with one of the longest gaps between home league matches in recent memory?

Here's where I jinx it but, looking at the Bristol City squad - there's not really anyone that looks of any real quality. I know they relied heavily on Tammy Abraham last season and now they have Jamie Paterson who looked promising at Forest but seems to have fallen away...the rest seem like mediocre level players who would struggle to get anywhere near our first XI

Our schedule is proper bent this year. we seem to have a shedload of home games this month (would have been more if Barnsley hadn't got nixed) then nothing until the last weekend of October

As posted on the Matchwatch thread:

I'll open the prediction bidding with a 2-1 Reading win, with Big Daddy as first scorer.

Bristol City sold out their allocation of 3100 tickets but still have pay on the day available.

Expected attendance is around 3400ish according to website.

Should be a great atmosphere. Games against Bristol City are always good in that respect

They've been especially good in recent history since we've won 7 in a row.

If I'd checked that I may not have been so confident of a win. Especially seeing as I'm going. My record of seeing wins over the last few years is, ahem, a bit patchy.

Whoscored.Com's preview has this as 2-0 Reading, with our pace too much for their defence.

Thought you said you don't make the rules? But now you pick and choose who's predictions to put in?

Fine. Ignore my wrong ones because I was taking the piss, it just might not have looked like that....

Regardless... Also the furhtest away should only (imho) be the two 4-1results. Both same gap as GD but 3 is closer to 0 (what we scored) than 4 and 1 is farther away from 0 than 0. Hence 4-1 = furthest away than 3-0.

Im smashed so this is probably bollocks but it makes sense right now.

Ta.
