Ban the lot of them, people are saying it is only a smoke bomb but it isn't in light of recent events. They have to be the most stupid bunch of people to do that the day after the Parson Green incident. I for one don't want this club to be associated with idiots like these.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure its the same crowd that were causing trouble and needed a police escort from Griffin Park last season too.

If you are reading this, you are an embarrassment to our club. It doesn't make you hard rocking up to games in your Stone Island/Ralph Lauren gear and it certainly doesn't make you hard letting off a smoke bomb on a train and whacking the train ceiling it just makes you and the club look downright stupid and embarrassing.

I will probably get a load of people saying these fans are the future of our club, you really want us to be associated with that? If thats what they want to do Millwall are very welcome to them.

It's a level of self-obsessed ignorant fukwittery so bad, it deserves to be a crime, even if it isn't.

On what basis exactly? All I could see was a bunch of chavs acting rowdy on a train. There's nothing in that video to suggest any criminal act on their part. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending them and it looks pretty blatant that they were the idiots who did the deed but without any footage of them actually caught in the act or witnesses willing to stand up in court and testify it's going nowhere unless they own up. So on that basis there's no way that a stadium ban would hold up in court either.

How is what happened not a crime?

It shits on most public order acts and that's before getting into specific transport/railway laws.

Didn't say it wasn't. I just don't know what it would be if it is.

people have been questioned over the issue and I think they know generally who it was, but id imagine it will be tough to pin it on any one person

Seb's the one for this, but the offence of disorderly behaviour includes actions 'likely to cause alarm or distress', and is one of the relevant offences for a football banning order, covering actions both at the stadium and travelling to and from the game.

I mean blue smoke and chanting football fans is a pretty good give away it wasn't anything particularly sinister.

Definitely obnoxious and probably very irritating if you were a normal passenger on the train but football fans in general are that. Don't really get why everyone is getting upset over this. I would be very surprised if any passengers on the train thought their life was in danger.

The smoke bomb is what makes them twats imo, I've been at the madstad when a flare has gone off in the away end and despite the fact the smoke can disperse, it still has a pretty potent smell to it.

So I can only imagine it being a hell of a lot worse in an enclosed environment as it was with the train.

Speaking from a personal point of view, smoke bombs and the like can trigger an asthma attack. Was very unpleasant being relatively close to one at the Mad Stad; as you say, I'd definitely be badly affected in an enclosed environment. I avoid areas I know are going to be smoky (don't do bonfires or major firework displays for instance), but should be able to travel on a train without being subjected to stuff like this.

These "lads" are selfish ignorant obnoxious morons. Anybody defending them needs to take a good hard look at themselves.

Said by a person who knows about, and understands football and football fans. For those who aren't embedded in the culture, just fans shouting on a train can be intimidating and scary, let alone letting off smoke bombs.

Quite simply, it is incredibly inconsiderate. Regardless of any safety or health related risks, which there clearly are, how about just not being a total dick in the first place?
