Get where you're coming from but it's kind of meaningless including anyone with less than 900 minutes under their belt.

Not really coming from anywhere except to note how many new players we have (with few RFC minutes) and how few look like they will ever be even "one goal every three games"

Big worry for me is GMac.

But most of them are midfielders, some of them defensive midfielders, and a goal every 3 games equates to 15 a season. That's a huge expectation for a midfielder (Darren Caskey and Gylfi are the only midfielders in living memory to achieve that for Reading, one was a set piece specialist, the other was world class) and of the 3 forwards you list (JDB, Mendes and Kermie), according to your statistics, they all achieve better than 1 goal every 3 games.

Not trying to pick holes but what are these statistics trying to illustrate?

Add Samuel to the equation - lets see why he failed to get games

So what do you extrapolate from the statistics?

Snowball, you might benefit from doing these sort of stats in a spreadsheet with a bit of formatting, taking a screen clip and hosting it on an image site, then linking it as an image on here.

Easier to present, manipulate (in the good way) and read.

Hna's formatting isn't the most helpful for this sort of thing and it can make it a bit difficult to take in, especially on smaller screens like phones.

Just an idea you might find useful and get your musings a bit wider recognition.

Never had any luck uploading images outside AE

Not "trying to illustrate" anything. Just wondered what the current minutes per goal are.

As for "one in three" I was making the point that it doesn't look likely for many of this lot (ATM)

I would certainly start Dadi, though, as long as his goal-stats are decent. I don't care how many goals are missed. If a player can be under a goal per 270 minutes, he's important. Currently, despite his misses, Dadi is way better than that.

He also contributes with engaging CBS, flicks and knockdowns

But, as I said, the bulk of them are midfielders, to suggest any sort of goalscoring benchmark is unfair.

The problem isn't midfield, the problem is not having any fit strikers. The return of Bod will hopefully rectify that particular problem in the short term.
