Perhaps the stat should be based on possession in the oppositions half only. :roll:

Since when did a Plan B have to involve tearing up your entire ethos and starting again.

Why can't Plan B be a substitution to get a different player on? Or a change of shape?

It's patently obvious to anyone with eyes and functional braincells that Stam has not only a Plan B, but a Plan C, D and E. They mostly revolve around the same passing ethos, yes, but they do involve different approaches.

You didn't see people decrying Coppell's lack of Plan B because he didn't ever change to route one Wimbledonesque hoofball, or tippy-tappy drivel. His entire tenure the side played with the same ethos and mostly the same shape even.

I think we mainly just need plan A to include a striker, and for us to attack teams occasionally
