Woodcote Royal A positive result would be actually starting with a striker.

This seems a good game for season ticket holders to take Stam's advice by staying away unless our current form makes you so deliriously happy that you can't stop cheering the team to the rafters.

On that basis, my seat's paid for and if the team looks like it's been picked by someone intent on getting a positive result, I can watch on telly happy in the knowledge that any negative comment made in Surrey won't be audible to sensitive ears in Berkshire. Sorted.

When are you going to become Surrey Royal?

As a RFC season ticket holder - I am not bothered to go to the match vs Norwich - at least at home I can switch between the match and a Premier match

Crowd 14k loyal souls who should be seeing entertaining football

Score 1 - 2 the Mad Stad is no longer a fortress when teams like Bristol can get a result and Hull nearly matched them.

Where is Quinn? Should Quinn become Dutch to play?

Prediction - if we lose Saturday Stam will be gone.

Last season's achievement irrelevant - only got to look at Ranieri as an example of how it is these days.

I think we will lose 6-1 like last season. Stam will get sacked after this game. Murphy will score 2 and oliveria 3 and 1 og from pcunter.

He is a God awful manager. Look at our situation. No strikers that are any good. Everybody in injured because of the way he trains. He is a terrible manager and the sooner we get in some one like rednap or zola the better

- Owners have invested a lot of money
- Genuine ambition to get into the Premier League this season
- Crowds are down
- Football is dull and uninspiring
- Feel good factor from last season is gone
- Gourlay isn't daft, he saw what we all saw at Millwall, Brentford etc - isn't good enough
- Run of games after Saturday is hideous

Saying all that, win Saturday and all will be rosey again...

Genuinely would take Pardew back if Stam went - three things we are lacking at the moment - TENACITY / SPIRIT & FLAIR!

I agree with all those points, I just don't think the owners will sack him just yet.

I don't agree with the Pardew bit.

You'd have to ask though whether sacking Stam would make it any more like we went up this season or next. Its very much his squad and players who fit his system. The owners certainly won't (and prob can't with fair play rules) go and splash out on another new side

Not sure about Pardew. But I'm certainly not one to say never due to the circumstances he left in, as that's childish IMO

Who else is out there?

We have a squad more than capable to challenge for the play offs (minus a striker until Yann is back). I want Stam to get it right like most people do. But at present, it really is dire stuff.

It would be Parkinson wouldn't it. I'm not sure he's any better than a manager who came within a whisker of the Prem last season.

Why's everyone having a meltdown - he was right - if you wanna boo then don't go. Let's get on with it.

Booing wont solve anything, i agree with that. But there is genuine reason for concern.

Yes we came a whisker away from promotion last season, but looking back - how many games did you come away from last season thinking 'how did we win that?'

I wouldn't say that many. There were quite a few where I thought 'we didn't play especially well' but we seemed to often be able to up a gear and grab a goal when we needed.

Difference this year has been we haven't been as clinical with the few good chances we've had (Swift a big miss here along with Yann), and the infuriating habit of conceding to the oppositions very few chances
