Sutekh How to follow the game

  1. Get a ticket and travel to the Mad Stad
  2. Listen to Radio 5 Live and/or a myriad of other radio stations for score flashes
  3. Ring/text a mate for updates
  4. Use an iFollow subscription

Going to need at least 7/10s all over the pitch to get anything here, will take a draw any day of the week, they have 2 players worth more than our entire squad and with 4000 screaming away fans it could turn into a uncomfortable afternoon.

we'll certainly have to play well, but Cardiff, QPR and Sheff Utd have all beaten them this season

Blokes on the Wolves forum criticising the town of Reading.

I mean... they have been to Wolverhampton, right? I've been there a couple of times. Both times I felt a lingering sense that the apocalypse had just happened.

oh FFS. Don't know why there is always the need to slate the place you are visiting.

The ground is a pain in the arse to get to, but obvs there are the shuttles. The town centre is great for boozers etc, with lots of decent options. And thats basically all you want when you come to watch football.

Don’t think our squad cost less than £13 million. We spent 10 million plus on Aluko and Ilori !
Obviously numbers are not always easy to find but I reckon our squad cost something around 25 million.

It’s obviously going to be a challenge, but it’s also exactly the sort of game we tend to do well in. Anyone settling for a draw now is mad, we’re more than capable of winning it.

Thought I read somewhere they have 2 players worth 31 million, might be wrong.

I think they spent 31 million on two players - Neves and Costa

Not sure if that’s the same thing as being worth 31 million though

Ambiguity issue !

I interpreted the OP as two players each worth more than our squad, not added together. I suspect we’ve played quite a few teams in recent years who’s two most expensive players cost more than our whole squad as the cost of our squad has rocketed in the last 12 months.

Not many will be from Wolverhampton, it's oxf*rd bleak and many have moved south

I know 3 Wolves fans who lived there when growing up but moved for this reason.

Reading are at home AND it's a Saturday so don't need a university degree to see that coming.

Notice that on their forum they're buying up south west home seats and smatterings of lower west as they've sold out their allocation.

Live nobbing from hotel bar. First home match in five years. Saw a big Frenchman hobble from his car. Dingles spotted in lycra tracksuits.

Expecting a very tough game, but same side we played against derby then there’s plenty of room for optimism

Ilori and Joey back in. Aluko Richards and Edwards drop out. Yann starts

Guessing Aluko isn’t quite 100%

Bod back on the bench which is great news imo.

3-4-3 with Bacuna at RWB I suppose and Gunter on the left. Makes sense as Wolves only play 2 in midfield as well. Edwards dropped for Joey as an Edwards-Swift midfield might be too lightweight.

Shame Aluko not starting, must have had a knock.

Looks like a good crowd...Wolves fans making a noise inside and out.....think they might have sold their entire end out.

That was disgraceful defending. There were two or three players just watching him get in 5 yards of space and through on goal.
