Would be perfect for us, and seems to have slipped down the pecking order at Derby. A complete striker in his prime, loads of championship experience.

Massive yes from me if we can make it happen. Loan with option to buy, perhaps?

Think there will be more desirable options for him!

Stranded This just sounds like A Whisper to me though I'm sure we have our Spies in place. I hope we don't leave it too long as Clocks are ticking. It doesn't take a Scientist to realise we need a striker but he hardly moves at High Speed or gives me a Shiver but if he Sparks a revival and gets us out of Trouble, which will be The Hardest Part, then this deal would be Magic.

It's probably all Talk though but Don't Panic I'm sure he'll say Yes.

With Stam, We Never Change, but don’t worry, All Is Not Lost.

Time to grab my coat and hat...

You'd change your tune if we signed a Big Black footballer.

Mind you, after his Yermas Dildo shocker, Jonathan Low might run with the rumour that we're signing Bolivian U21 fullback Rembrandt Pussyhorse.

This reporter is quite reliable. Looks like Reading genuinely want him https://twitter.com/jpercytelegraph/sta ... 4214918145

@reluctantnicko
Reading. Noses in front in Chris Martin race. Loan. Best offer gets him.

Yes good idea to play a guy who scored 3 goals all last season over a guy that scored 11 in 30 games for Fulham. 64 goals in 153 outings for Derby wasn't too shabby either.

Would like to play him AND Bodvarsson.

Like this deal, hope it happens. Him and McQueen would be ideal

Loan rather than permament might be the best option though. Just to see if it works for everyone.

Does anyone know the official explanation for his falling out at Fulham last season? Was it a disagreement with the manager or a homesickness thing? I remember him going AWOL at one point in the season which is a slight worry.

Went awol in the fog game against us

Was mainly as McClaren wanted him back at Derby. Was a key man for him in his previous spell. Guessing McClaren just got in his ear and said he wanted him back and would be his main man etc

Did think the reaction from Martin was over the top at the time but this time he must surely realise his time at Derby is coming to an end.

Homesickness? He was born in Suffolk and was playing in West London for Fulham!!

His wife and kids probably weren't in West London though. Some people find it hard to be away from what they know.

Decent player who needs a change of scenery. A bit like Bacuna.

Looking through your posts it would appear you have yet to make one in about 8 years so I think I am doing ok based on that.
