Old Man Andrews Does anyone know the official explanation for his falling out at Fulham last season? Was it a disagreement with the manager or a homesickness thing? I remember him going AWOL at one point in the season which is a slight worry.

To answer the original question there was a change of management at Derby at the time, cant remember who it was but they said they were interested in getting Martin back to Derby. Turned out their was no recall on the loan agreement and Martin went on strike trying to get back there.

His wife and kids probably weren't in West London though. Some people find it hard to be away from what they know.

I think you've yet to make a decent contribution to this forum since joining. You're a bit like the Pelle Clement of hobnob

Looking through your posts it would appear you have yet to make one in about 8 years so I think I am doing ok based on that.

Get a room you two!

If he can't score at Derby what makes you think he'll score in Stam's awful system ?

alfie9 Would rather play Bodvarsson

Yes good idea to play a guy who scored 3 goals all last season over a guy that scored 11 in 30 games for Fulham. 64 goals in 153 outings for Derby wasn't too shabby either.

Or we could play the guy we've already got who has scored three goals in six starts... yeah?

I was sent a text by a reliable source in Derby saying the deal was being done...Not sure if its a good thing or bad

Thats another forward who wont stretch defenders and run in behind we really need some movement up front .

He's probably as good as we'll get. Good record, but concerned that I think he has only scored 1 all season, in quite a few minutes on the pitch

To be fair, the way the team is lining up and playing at the moment, Thierry Henry in his prime would struggle to score goals

Remember it's about his time of year Stam brings in a useful striker to fill in in midfield and get slated by the fans 'cos he looks cr@p

Hilarious isn't it. I quite like Martin. He's been a good champ level striker for a while now.

I think he is a decent option. However To think that he is likely to come into the current set up and score a load is unlikely imo

Sorry you class 5 starts and 800 minutes in 21 games as quite a few minutes?

Just checking, that’s everything thanks buddy. For future reference though, I will continue to ask for conformation on silly statements.
