Longhorn1970
Zip I really hope we can get a striker in over the next few days. Neither Kermorgant or Bodvarsson are good enough for us this season. Against Championship sides our forwards barely find the net.

Won't change anything, Stam couldn't motivate someone to breath ..

Yep it won’t change anything

The team and management are shot. Stam can’t even bring himself to do the press conferences

It’s all over for him. Let’s not drag this out any longer

A few weeks ago I lost faith in the manager, tonight I lost faith in our squad. What on earth are they doing in training

In my mind - this is far, far worse then Brian's second stint - at least then, we knew we were safe, beat a Prem team in the cup and yet that wasn't good enough rightly or wrongly.

Christ on a bike - if someone offered mid table now, I'd bite their arm off - Stam has taken this team BACKWARDS rather then forwards.

We're Reading fans. Most of us are pretty silent most of the time.

This season is starting to feel like the collapse under Bullivant. The team take the pitch looking like they feel the situation is hopeless, and they expect to lose.

We were poor earlier in the season, and we've stepped down a gear.

Berry Has G Mac been on steroids...The guy looks strange

Steroids are 'performance enhancing' so clearly fcuking not.

Lol....A V8 engine would have trouble moving him....WTF has happened to him?? I know he has been injured but Christ he looks like he has a different body

He's 30, he's had several major injuries, lots of minor ones and he's a winger that relied on pace and change of direction. He's been mostly oxf*rd for about 2 or 3 years with the occasional bout of fitness and form.

Snowflake Royal
Longhorn1970 FT. Did Mr Stam or players acknowledge the travelling support ?

I'm confident the travelling support had a message for them at least.

It starts with 'b' and ends in 'o'

Bravo?

Obviously. Stam and the boys put in a cracking performance tonight. Who wouldn't be pleased with seeing a 4 goal extravaganza

There needs to honesty from within the club. The club need to put Stam out of his misery. The players need to admit their own feeble performances are unacceptable.
This has been our worst season in two decades. Everything now needs to change.
At least when we were dire in 2014/15 and 2015/16 we enjoyed cracking Cup runs.

It would also be nice to hear from our owners. As fans our support is being taken foregranted.

B.O.

Possibly the answer to why the team isn't getting along, and one that could be solved with a few sticks of deodorant, and some tactful words to the offending players.

If he's still in charge before Saturday something has to be arranged to try and make the powers that be inside the club are fully aware of the general feeling of the majority (I don't think that's an exaggeration) of RFC fans.

Well - I've a thought and feel free to shhot me down.

Stam;s problem is arrogance, but he's been taught by Sir Alex, supposedly the best in the business - but look at all of the other managers that had the "benefit" of his experience - to name just a few...

Brian Kidd - one stint at Blackburn
Mike Phelan - another assistant that never made it in the managerial world
Mark Hughes - spends loads and then struggles
Steve Bruce - another one that goes from club to club with limited success
Gary Neville - one disastrous job at Valencia
Gary Pallister - M'Boro then disappeared!
Paul Ince - good at MK Dons - then divebombed

Yep Gourlay spoke a few weeks ago but things have worsened since then. I expect Stam will be in charge for the Burton game. If we lose that game he has to go. Otherwise the atmosphere for the Millwall game will be toxic.
