Lower West You have to question how many of the players actually want to be at the club.......

No tenacity, no spirit , no flair.

Sacking Stam isn't the answer.

Isn’t that Stam’s job to implement those 3 things?

No it’s not his fault.

It’s probably yours.

Yep, it's the managers job to get the best out of the players at his disposal. He's not doing that, and hasn't done for a while now. Therefore he shouldn't be doing the job. Pretty simple really.

We have the same debate every week, we scan the news outlets hopefully every Sunday. we get the same quotes on social media, "the players are working hard" "mistakes cost us" "we will get it right in training"
Will anything change?.. of course it F*cking well won`t , its clear the teams below us are picking up their games, frankly under this regime I just don't think we are capable of that. pity Gourlay cant see that staring him the face, FFS he sacked enough bosses at Chelsea,

He said in his Friday interview that training went well. Did they beat the cones this week?

Hound Obvs don’t know what goes on at the training ground etc, but we look badly coached this year. As first team coach, not sure Gilkes is the answer

Agree - never came across as the sharpest tool in the box when he was a player when interviewed, was very surprised when he was appointed coach.

1-1. Cones worked hard and didn’t make it easy for us. Cones defended well especially after being reduced to 7 on the hour mark.

I heard the cones had a goal disallowed near the end too.

I think a big part of the problem is that’s Stam
Just isn’t used to this situation. He has looked utterly clueless on how to turn a failing group around

Last year after a poor result we always bounced straight back - he was never tested an an actual poor run

I just don’t think he has ever been in this situation as a player and certainly a manager. Then it appears his coaching staff have little experience at this level either. The whole coaching group look painfully out of their depth

He is either going to have to learn very quickly as he suggests (not seeing much evidence) in his SS interview or he needs to be replaced.

The fans need to get on the pitch against Derby. They all need to come together as a unit and enter the field of play in their hundreds and then simply sit on the pitch.

That is what I would advise if I thought the supporters were angry enough. Fact is the support aren't angry we are just so bored and tired out from it all. The way we are protesting is with poor attendances and walking out early. Apathy has won.

Don't get what all the fuss is about. After every loss, half the board calls for Stam to be sacked. After every win, half the board point out that we still haven't won away on a Tuesday with a northeasterly wind after losing the toss. You're supposed to be fans, the only course of action is to support the team!

ROYALJOE We was right up there that season till Steve Clarke had his head turned and decided to speak to Fulham from that point onwards we dropped down the table. Believe we could of got or competed for the play-off that season if Clarke did'nt have his head turned. It's always tough for a new manager to take charge half-way through a season, that's they we fell off but we were never as bad that this that season

Yes, true, but of Clarke's front six, three had gone before Stam arrived, two were sold that summer to fund our spending spree, and Quinn has been injured for 30 months. The only members of that side available to Stam were Gunter, Obita, and McShane.

Absolutely unbelievable that Stam and his clogg wearing pals are still at the Club. The man is like a black cloud over the Club and is doing so much damage while the owners continue to show no interest.
Come on Gourlay earn your money and get him out by Monday.
