If we are still as clear of Brum, Barnsley and Bolton after tonight, I think we'll be good.

Think your right here, tonight is huge in terms of relo threat. If Fulham play anywhere nr the standard they have over the last couple months we will struggle to get a point. Then its down to the others starting to pick up points or on Saturday we could be finally clear

Well, considering we had no chance of getting anything at the Cottage tonight couldn’t have gone much better

Down to 10/12 points required to guarantee safety. Edging closer

Being as Barnsley play Birmingham 8 points would guarantee safety wouldn’t it?

But realistically 4 or 5 would almost certainly do it

Took a look at Sunderland`s highlights tonight, they were extremely lucky to get a point, they are a poor side, if we lose to them then we deserve to be where we are.

I prefer to think of it as guaranteed points to tick off, particularly as I started doing this about 5/6 games ago and trying to work out all the permutations is a total ballache.

Burton are basically down, can't see them recovering from a 5-0 home loss, and they still have to play two playoff challengers.

Sunderland need to beat us to have any chance of realistically surviving - that late goal last night might have killed them off. Even then, their last two games are against the top two.

So really, it's between us, Brum, Bolton and Barnsley. Bolton look like the team who may slip into it. A win on Saturday and I'd be confident that's us safe, as Barnsley are playing Bolton (so they can't both get maximum) and Brum are away to Wolves on Sunday.

My gut feeling is Bolton, Sunderland and Burton will be the final bottom 3.

think the same. Bolton seemed to have lost form, as have Birmingham - 1 point from Brizzle and Burton is a poor return with such a tough run in

We've got 3 pretty decent stabs a getting the 3 points we probably need in the next 3 games. Our run in now looks pretty simple compared to the other teams. I think we'll do it Saturday and send Sunderland down in the process.

I don't think so. But realistically there is zero chance of them beating Fulham and Wolves

A Barnsley win against Bolton would be worse news for Birmingham than Bolton as the latter still have Burton and Forest to hope for points from.

Birmingham's run-in looks tough. Depends which QPR team tuns up.

I bet Hull fans are kicking themselves at what might have been this season. Looks like they've clicked - consecutive 4-0 and 5-0 wins. I think they will be a force next season.

Thought a few months ago that they looked on paper way too good to be where they were. Problem for them is they will be losing some of their better players in the summer, either out of contract (Dawson, Hernandez) or end of loan (Aina, Hector). If Bowen goes as well, thats a big gap left, with no funds coming in for them (except Bowen)

Also depends on what their owners want to do.
