Yet more incompetence.

This has all the hallmarks of the Bullivant season.

It's truly amazing that we've had 3 months of being absolutely appalling but are still 6 points clear of the drop zone. I started to think that we could forfeit our remaining 9 games and still stay up.

On any given day they say anyone can beat anyone in the championship. Except where Reading are concerned.

With Barnsley and Hull winning we are now very vulnerable to one of the bottom three picking up a bit. It may well happen and if it does we will be heading for relegation. Don’t forget we have a lot of very tough games coming up.

I can see it happening. Sky say that Burton are having a real go. The other two are crap but at least Burton do seem to have some fight about them. Let's hope their fight is not enough

Isn't it depressing that we are worrying about Burton Albion...

It’s ok.

The result doesn’t count according to the wise women of the team board - tonight is a “free hit”.

That season ended with a run of 6 points (2 wins against also relegated Man City and Stoke) from the last 18 games

So Reading are not quite at those standards, but are working hard to match it

Currently still 19th but Barnsley are a point behind which now makes for a 5 point gap between them and Birmingham in 22nd

To be honest I'd take a 0-1 right now to keep our GD "only" -10 for the start of the last 9 games.

Looks like Sheffield Wednesday might be slipping down into the mix whilst Hull seem to be escaping?

Hull now 3-0 up at Ipswich.

Hull are safe now imo.

Decent run of form and too many good players

With results as they are, the current bottom three are starting to get cut adrift.

Can we address the fact that most of us agreed Jaakola was poor against Leeds then equally bad against Bolton and has somehow been selected again?

"It's about how many goals Wolves want" said Tony Cottee on Sky, "Reading haven’t had a shot all game and don’t look like scoring" - after 50 minutes.

We haven't had a shot.

No fight, no direction, no clue. Don't care where they are in the league, we should have enough about us to at least make a game of it.

Stam seems to be happy with a defeat here.

It’s all well good and assuming we can beat the teams “we should”, but we don’t.
