What are you talking about? It couldn't be more different.

Stam would just say "blah blah, the opposition are a great team and a big club, of course you want to win, but they want to win also and sometimes that can be hard and make it difficult for you".

He's as charismatic as a ball point pen.

A teacher, maybe or a scaffolder, or an accountant. I really don't care just move him on and do it oxf*rd quickly

No we don't want Colin!! Nor do we want any of the other dinosaurs out there - Redknapp, Big Sam, etc. Nor will we be able to attract anyone like Martinez or Rafa (particularly, heaven forbid, from League 1).

But how about Nigel Clough? He's got the experience now and has done pretty well at the clubs he has managed. He has done a great job with Burton with very little investment and if they do get relegated, as looks likely, he might relish the chance at Reading. He is a manager with integrity and he likes his teams to play football - that's dangerously close to 'The Reading Way'.

Thoughts?

I can't remember if I mentioned this, but in pre-season Neil Warnock was tipping his promotion challengers and he failed to mention Reading at all.... we all laughed and accused him of leaving us out because he hating losing to us, However could he have been on to something?

Whatever you say about Warnock. He wins and gets average teams to play to their strengths. (See Cardiff)

I know who I would want in the trenches........and he aint Dutch!

Ya think? Prolly saw our back 4 and said 'Really? No thanks. Nor for me. Not for this division'. Read somewhere that half their starters are 6'3 and over. And their bench, too. Madine, Halford, etc.

He targets at least 16 shutouts a season (which they already have). We have one. Yep, they likely wouldn't have conceded 2 goals from corners in just the first half alone on Saturday.
