2 world wars, 1 world cup
TBM People saying Paul Clement would be a bad signing

Lets look at this managerial career

2009–2011 Chelsea (assistant)
2011–2012 Blackburn Rovers (assistant)
2012–2013 Paris Saint-Germain (assistant)
2013–2015 Real Madrid (assistant)
2015–2016 Derby County
2016–2017 Bayern Munich (assistant)
2017 Swansea City

He's coached some world class players in his time - he was sacked at Derby despite them being 5th in the league and then at Swansea he kept them up when everyone thought it was likely they were going down...

People say he plays "boring negative football" but can it be any worse than what we've been watching all season? - he would have learnt alot from his time at Derby and Swansea (look at Brendan Rodgers who everyone thought played boring negative football when he started his career with us....)

I'd be happy enough with him.

Agreed, and to add to that if it ends up being boring football that yields better results than what we have had to contend with thus far, do not think there will be many complaints.

retro royal I'd take Nigel Pearson, these players need a big kick up the backside, need a manager that know's the coaching setup he wants.

The Belgium Proximus (or whatever it's called) has already finished, Leuven finished second but lost out in playoffs.

I do hope the people suggesting Redknapp aren't the ones who've been complaining about a loss of identity.

You couldn't get further from our identity than that saggy faced, tax dodging, agent back handering, finance crippling, mercenary arsehat.

I must admit I am not enthralled by the prospect of Paul Clement being our next manager. It appears he is little more than Jaap Stam with hair and will not provide a type of football that is likely to bring back to some excitement and fans to the club.

I just hope that the people making the decision factor in the views of fans (from forums like this, radio shows, etc). I wouldn't want them to base their decision on it but at the end of the day they need the supporters to return to the stadium and it appears that the feeling towards Clement is lukewarm at best.

We do need to appoint someone with hair though, we need to alternate so a bald wonder can come in to replace a hirsuite betrayer / fraud. I know it didn't work with Adkins then Clarke, but that's because Clarke was a baldie grouch tramp, rather than an amiable thoughtful folicly challenged gent.

Can't disagree with that.

He didn't avoid tax he merely evaded it.

And then I believe blamed it on his dog.

I mentioned neither, I said "dodging" - not a legal term.

Also, just because he wasn't convicted of evasion, doesn't mean he didn't do it.
