Question it opens is do you go with 1 or 2 defensive minded midfielders to give the defence more cover. I would hope one would be Bacuna, giving us a player who can do the box to box role well. Think we may well still see JVDB but I would prefer Evans.
My team assuming one of Elphick/McShane is fit (if not swap in Ilori):
Mannone
Gunter
Elphick/McShane
Moore
Richards (is he fit? - if not Blackett)
Bacuna
Evans
Kelly
Aluko
JDB
Barrow

Can't have Blackett at left back surely? The bloke is a train wreck as a full back.

The very definition of a walking lapse in concentration. It's funny how often he shows pure talent on the ball to give me hope then falls asleep on their counter attack or drifts way out of position. Poor guy.

Thing is I think he could do ok on the left side of a back 3 with Ephick and Moore alongside him. He seems reasonably capable as a CB.

Isn't that where our top scorer and (on current form) our best player plays?

Yeh, switch him to left back.
