Edwards was a garbage signing in the first place. Just shows how bad recruitment has been the last year. When we hopefully get rid in the summer can he take Tevreden with him?

Yes, wonder if we could get Nicky Hammond back now

no chance

Do you not think ?

Zip The stats are very similar to the QPR. No goals conceded under the Clement reign too date but two sending offs. :D

Difference seems to be Villa are getting decent shots at the goal. Can’t see us holding out tbh.

With 11 men maybe

I can’t see it either although the longer we can hold on the more their support will get on their backs. At least Edwards will now be suspended for the Preston game.

Vito doing a great job obviously having more confidence after that fine PK save. One thing I don't like is the space they are giving them into the box. Definitely they are defending much deeper than Stam ever let them do. Next 45min I fear will feel like that first PL away match at Old Trafford - stout and fearless defending and zero offense.

West Brom are bottom of the Prem 10 points from safety. So I think we should pass on Hammond coming back.

Maybe so. Just a train of thought what with Nigel Gibbs and Halabi coming back. And with Tevreden not been heard off for a while, not too surpeisingly.

Showing no initiative to win the ball. Game plan seems to be sit completely back and crowd out the box, then hit hopeless balls up to Smith - you know that well known target man who’s hold up play is stellar

Just a matter of time before Villa get in.

Never want to see Dave Edwards play for us again.

On a plus side Hull are holding Wolves (who should be down to 10 men) so the record maybe safe tonight.
On the downside Birmingham have just scored.

I’d rather Hull got no points thanks!

I'd rather Brum lost obviously but it keeps Bolton behind us. An absolutely dreadful result for the current bottom three.

Obviously it's early days for Clement so we'll just have to see how things unfold, but I think the squad has underperformed so changing the DoF might not be the biggest issue.

My biggest concerns this season thus far have been poor quality of coaching, particularly defence, and I reckon lack of fitness given the timing of the goals we concede.

Yep. We remain very much in trouble. If Brum win tonight they then have Burton up next. They may well start pulling clear.
