NewCorkSeth Well you've chosen a player most people see the obvious faults with (surprisingly poor at defending, particularly marking, A weak voice for a captain with no obvious on pitch leadership skills) and stated he's your favorite. Hes like spam. Something most people see the obvious faults with but those who like it defend it blindly.

Ah fair enough - thanks for the explanation.

You may be right - I also really like how he pulls his socks up further than others

Careful now, if McCleary hears you talking about him like that he might get jealous.

I think part of my appreciation for Gunter is that I sat next to him and GMac on a flight to Vegas a few years ago - great guys

In the non away half of the South Stand there is a small group of maybe 40 Reading fans who are standing up and singing throughout the first half.

Is this our standing area experiment?

Or is it a special Armed Forces thing (their flag has an RAF logo I think)?

Ref is doing well so far. JDB is either not fully fit or having a bad day with his decision making.

Armed forces....or Mods day out.....Strange area to seat them. They stick out like a sore thumb.

I swear Kelly got up and thought "let's annoy Ascotexgunner today". He's been so f*cking wasteful. Everything has been over hit as usual, or going backwards.

Apart from the awesome free kick he put in the box that resulted in our goal...

Pelle Clement has been brilliant since he came on. Can see him scoring here.

Tad heavy with his first touch imo. Has been much improved in defense though.

Ilori and Moore have been brilliant so far. Any hint of danger and they're all over it like a rash.

Bod needs to hold the ball up though, can see Kermorgant warming up so hopefully he'll do a better job at it.

preston have come close 3 time
we need to get another goal !

We have had 3 shots (only 1 on target) to their 12 (2 on target) so another goal for us seems unlikely.

Would have liked Burton to hold on but Birmingham have to play 4 of the top 9 in their last 5 games.
