With Barnsley having won and a game in hand, we HAVE to win this game.

Mannone, Gunter, Moore, Ilori, Richards, Bacuna, Kelly, Swift, Barrow, Aluko, Bod.

Bit lightweight in midfield, but should be plenty of creativity and everyone is in their theoretically best position.

Although that soft fairy Gunter should never be captain.

More would be a good captain.

I would like to wager that no team selection has been greeted with such head nodding admiration as today’s for quite a long time at the Mad Stad.

A very well balanced side for a home game with none of the scapegoats hob nobbers like to lambast selected!

Well, if our shooting in the warm up is anything to go by, expect Reading 0.

Kelly, Bod, Ilori and Bacuna have also had their fair share of lambasting at various points.

I thought about qualifying my initial post....

Gunter is just about my favourite player - he’s a regular 7 out of 10 and if he needs to be the scapegoat to take the heat of others then that’s fine with me - as Wales best player he can cope.

Aluko fair point but I’m exempting him and focussing on his achievements under the Clement regime.

Are we expecting our red card to be in the first or second half this game? any bets on who? Bacuna seems most likely at the moment.

Well you've chosen a player most people see the obvious faults with (surprisingly poor at defending, particularly marking, A weak voice for a captain with no obvious on pitch leadership skills) and stated he's your favorite. Hes like spam. Something most people see the obvious faults with but those who like it defend it blindly.

Careful now, if McCleary hears you talking about him like that he might get jealous.

For a team who played possession based football for over a year there are times we look surprisingly uncomfortable in possession.
