Don Goodman

I mean what a total bellend,

Don Goodman weighs in to the 'best team ever in the Championship' debate, but clearly getting the most points (Reading's 106) is not enough..
"Wolves have been probably the best team I've ever seen in the championship, I'll go as far as to say that.
"They just had a little blip which has just cost them a couple of points that ultimately as far as that record goes is going to cost them.
"But I think any team that gets 100 points in this league is a special team and you look at those teams, they were all special teams that got to 100 points.
"Wolves have been magnificent in every conceivable way this season"

utter Tripe the bloke has never said a good word about us. He’s Wolves through and through. Not only us but the Sunderland 105 we’re better than them. Neither of us had the vast miiions at there disposal that Wolves have spent. They bought the league we won it.

I don’t care what he thinks. We hold the record. 106.

He is a complete helm. I am constantly surprised at how each time I hear him commentate he surpasses his previously established level of bellendry. Total cockwomble.

He's a Wolves boy so of course he is going to favour them.

He is a bell though and for some reason always hated us. I assume there is history there.

Former Wolves player in favouring Wolves shock.

Not really worth getting your knickers in a twist about.

Will be a lot of this as people simply use the thought process - this has just happened so it must be the best thing ever. Already seen people claiming that the year we got 106 the division was terrible - almost like they haven't been following this years relegation battle.

Plus as said he's ex Wolves so meh!

I've hated him ever since that Walsall playoff final.

Each season is different so it's apples and pears.
(but of course the 106ers were the better team)

Exactly, although when people look back in 20 years times, no-one will look further than the points total, although we did score more points, more goals, conceded fewer goals, lost fewer games, had a better disciplinary record and the squad was put together for a fraction of the cost, even in relative terms.

We have the 106 record, anyone know if the 33 games unbeaten is a EFL record too? if so it`s something not too many people talk about?

Don Goodman never has a nice word to say about us, when he commentates on us its even funnier. Wouldn't pay attention to anything he says.

The 106 team and the current Wolves teams are very different considering the millions they have spent and the shoestring budget that Sir Steve used.

He clearly has an agenda when it comes to Reading but as he is such a poor pundit he is easy to dismiss. The standard of punditry on Sky for the EFL is generally pretty poor but as they have no interest in showing any Reading games anyway, it is not too much of an issue.
