I didn't realise he was only 27 when he joined us. It looks like he'd had really bad problem with injuries over the previous few years.

I can't recall much about his playing career with us, beyond him (badly) missing a one-on-one on his Elm Park debut.

He did, however, hand out comps to me and a few mates outside Shrewsbury later that season, meaning that the old biddies who normally always got them had to pay that day.
