Hound Any other club and I’d think it’d be minor.

POTS by a country mile - though Gunter is an ‘adequate’ replacement; be a huge blow if he is out for any period

Pre-injury Rino was nailed on for PotS IMO. Yiadom is certainly a contender. As is Miazga and Martinez for me.

Beyond that, no one else in the slightest.

It's a sad indication of how your season is going when Yiadom walks the POTS, I personally don't actually think he's very good, he's useless going forward (dare I say as poor at crossing as Gunter is) and he's had some real stinkers this season (Swansea away springs to mind). Not disagreeing with you as such because no-one else deserves it either but going through the squad, the only ones that have contributed enough through the season is

Yiadom
Moore
Blackett
Rino
Bacuna (while he was here)
Meite

Excluding loans

Yids would be my PoTS as things stand. He has had some real shockers during the season but also a number of stand out performances.
Only Rinomhota comes close for me. With Meite third.

Most assists in the team. Even given the competition that's not bad for someone who is "useless going forward".

Can't agree with Meite, he wouldn't look out of place in a league two game, but he's certainly contributed a lot more than most of the wasters out there, and it says a lot that Gomes wanted rid in January. Would probably do Moore/Blackett as third and agree with your first two

As for Yiadom, I didn't know he had so many assists in all honesty. Out of interest, do you remember the games he got an assist in? It feels to me that every time he crosses the ball in, it's just hit and hope rather than aimed. But fair enough though

If anything I think Yiadom is in some ways too good going forward for his own good. He has a knack of getting into really dangerous positions, and it often pays off - but it also means there are a lot of times when it doesn't pay off. Has been noticeable a few times in recent matches that he's suddenly found himself in a one-on-one and had to take a snap shot that he's not really suited to.

Blackett has the tendency to decide to spend a minute playing up front, but Yiadom is better at being where the ball's about to be.

Sounds plausible

Maybe he's missing having a decent proper striker up there. His best performances certainly do seem to coincide with having Bodvarsson or Oliveira up front

Blackett has been much improved this season, but has still spent plenty of time second choice to an average Academy product.

Moore is half the player he used to be and doesnt want to be here. What a message to send with your PotS award.

When you say plenty of times, you mean one game in the whole season right?

And Moore is massively overrated but he’s still outperforming the majority of people, him being “half the player he was before” is still better than most of them. He certainly doesn’t give the impression he doesn’t want to be here st the moment either

I think Moore has probably been a lot better than we perceive sometimes.

He's done fairly well at times. He isn't perfect, but he doesn't make too many errors, lose too many headers etc. I think he's actually had a pretty good season

POTS for me would be

Yiadom

>
Rino

Moore

Swift
Meite
Blackett

The keepers have both done quite well, along with Miazga, but not enough games yet

Yeah, he doesn't want to be here...

player who wants to be elsewhere likes winning and doesnt want to get relegated shocker.

You can say what you like, but if Moore doesn't want to be here, he doesn't show it after or during the games.

He played on with a dislocated shoulder ffs.

Might have been mentioned already but Sky Sports reporting Nelson could be back for the final 3 games, apparently he's travelled to see a team of Brazilian medics who say he is recovering ahead of schedule.

Queue Oliveria to have a training injury just before he is fit.

Richards has played seven games at left back.

Blackett has spent six games at centre back.

I'm going to guess that there was a lot of overlap between those two sets of games.

(Blackett has also spent 18 matches at left back)

Rinohmota likely to be involved at the weekend.

Baldock also back in training, which gives another option up top at least.

Ryan East out or the rest of the season with an ankle problem.
