CountryRoyal I’d say £1m is still quite a lot for a 25 year old striker who has only really scored well at league two level.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for us to pay it, but I think £700k would be about the upper end of his value considering his remaining contract length as well.

50% overpaying based on what? Footballers don't have a barcode and price attached to their ear .....
It might be your opinion that it is 50% over what he is worth but don't state it as a fact.
