It's not an awful XI. I don't like Kelly and Swift in the same side, but maybe Meyler is man enough for both of them. Although when you add in barrow and Aluko it's suddenly very powderpuff. I'd rather never see Aluko again, but maybe Clement can get something out of him.

Meite's not inspiring upfront but deserves to be given the time to succeed by fans and Bod isnt going to be fully ready yet.

Gunter at LB is disappointing, but there's only so much you can do.

So basically I'm ok with about 60% of the line up. Which pretty much reflects where we are, 60% of a good team.

Is Bacuna injured or is he just another talented bad attitude bad signing Clement doesn't want?

tbf, watching on ifollow that substitution was being lined up before the goal went in; the context in which you quote it makes it seems like he was taken off because he was at fault for the goal (which he was)... maybe he switched off because he knew he was coming off, which in turn is just unprofessional

Aluko is a waste of a position, really dont want to see him in an rfc shirt again. Barrow is the one who is looking most interested.

Gunter certainly at fault for the finish - simply muscled out of it and wrong side - but it was Yiadom who let Zaha go to get the cross in.

Yiadom followed the ball inside for the one two and the return pass to Zaha took three Reading players out the game and left Zaha in four yards of space. Poor from Yiadom.

The shape is generally pretty good but we are so so sloppy in possession. Luckily we won't face anyone as good as zaha this season, yiadom can't get close to him.
