If it is West Ham it will bring back memories of that game on 9/11.
The eeriest game I have ever been to.

I was only talking to my eldest son about that a few days ago. I remember driving along the M4 thinking the world will never be quite the same after today. I guess I was right, although not in quite the way I had imagined. As for the game, I know there were chants of "Shaka is a Royal" and we won on penalties. Don't remember much else apart from a general feeling of bewilderment among the crowd.

Home to Watford

Lets reciprocate and not sell a drop of Ale in the away end. See how they like it!

Would love Forest Green, West Ham or Oxford away. Reckon we will get Cardiff at home.

Decent draw, established PL team, full of foreign players

They will fancy their chances of going all of the way....or won’t give a sh1t and play their foreign reserve other team.

Either way 0-3, we “concentrate on the league” etc

Well with our record whatever team we play you should win.

Not won a round in this for about 10 years and we've played much worse sides than you guys.

We've got a few more English players now than in our Championship Pozzo days but get the point.

Beat us 3-0 in the LC about ten years ago iirc the game that I was at, at a sparcely populated Madejski.

If you haven’t won for years, that will be your shoe-in....we are charitable like that.

Good to hear from you again Horns!

I believe I was there, a home game and I was sat around Y23. It was one of the most one sided games I've seen for ages. We were lucky to only lose 3-0 in that game

Always good to have a well respected poster from a different club - cheers fella.

I'm just glad it's a home tie - not that I have anything against visiting Watford - was the first away ground I took my son (who was ten) to as I trust the Hornets to be a civilised bunch, and they've never let me down. But it gives us a chance, it would be a PL scalp, and getting beaten would be no embarrassment.

iirc, @ 0-3 down, we brought on Owusu or someone

Thinking back...that was more than ten years ago....either way, welcome Watford

Yes in 2005 when we actually reached the semifinals losing to Liverpool (Steven Gerrard)

Have been on in the past when we were facing each other on a regualr basis in the Championship (including our promotions in 2006)

Hopefully after you post play-off downer last season you can have a decent season - saw the game against Derby and you were unlucky.

I guess Jonathan Bond never worked out for you...

JB had his opportunities in the early shambolic Ali Alhabsi days, however he turned out to be our worse option. AAH got his arse in gear (getting p.o.t.s awards two seasons running) JB was loaned out to P’boro quite successfully for all concerned. With an abundance of young gk talent waiting in the wings and Annsi Jakkola his services were no longer required here...or something like that

Fond memories of a 2nd round 2-2 draw at Vicarage Road in September 92. One of the first signs that Mark McGhee was beginning to put together something special. Jimmy Quinn and Adie Williams notched IIRC. A biblical downpour flooded the away end and I was sodden by the time I got back to the car parked by the allotments.

Thought it was a reasonable draw. Could be far worse - Norwich away or something

Home tie always helpful. Not that bothered if we win but gives the chance for the fringe players to get a good competitive game in.
