Fond memories. I played for Flackwell Heath for a very short period.

Don't see why not. It's not like Scotland where for about 100 years Rangers and Celtic never met in the Scottish FA Cup semi

Is it just us that can’t be drawn at home or does it apply to the others FL sides as well ?

Do we know where the final is due to be ?

Presumably somewhere like Palmer Park ?

BFTG Flackwell Heath

Did well to win this 2-1. Supposedly U23s but I hadn't heard of half our starting XI. Sloping, bobbly pitch and the opposition were up for it.

Gave away a goal with the most terrible pass across the face of our goal - Omolabe I think - then lost Nolan to injury, screaming in agony and stretchered off. Wasn't a bad tackle or anything. So half-time 0-1 and a bit shell-shocked by that.

We kicked downhill in the second half and basically controlled possession in that Academy style of passing around at the back then down the wings then back across the middle to the other wing then back across the back then... you get the picture.

Cameron Green found a lot of space 2nd half coming from LB and made the equaliser with a low cross that wasn't cleared. Got the winner from a corner on 75 mins, both goals from Khalid Simmo (?). Held on reasonably comfortably for a win that didn't look likely at HT for a young team. Onwards.

How was the goalkeeper? He was excellent in the last round against Bracknell Town.

Different?

Last night was Myles Roberts. No chance with the goal. Solid and not that much to do in terms of shot-stopping. . They tried putting about 8 men in the 6 yard box for a late corner but he / we survived.

Considering we are probably fielding a third choice u23 side it’s quite impressive we are doing well in this. Are the other teams fielding full strength sides do we know ?

Bracknell defnitely did. It isn't that much of a shock tbh, these kids are all proper athletes who get some of the best training around. They all seem to have an extra yard of pace too which is a killer at that level.
