Theroyalbox Class act, Adam Federici has just reached out to a Reading fan on twitter, who is struggling mentally. Don't think it is appreciated what a nice bunch of fellas that team were.

Great act. Great lad. Mental health is no joke despite what people think.

He was somewhat of a pariah unfortunately.

John Smith In a hypothetical world would anyone have Uche Ikpeazu back at the club tomorrow if we could?

Only if he brought Simeon Howell and Andre Boucard with him.

Lets not forget Eric Obinna Chukwenyelu and Sekou Baradji.

Bit of a NL crossover, but...

JC (43) scored a hat trick and his 350th goal yesterday as Bishops Stortford beat Whitehawk 4-2

Elsewhere, ex-Royal Rowan Liburd (who he?) scores and motm for the mighty Guisley

George Friel nominated for an award. Remember him playing against non league Colchester at Layer Road in about 1990.

Dave Kitson was on Talksport yesterday morning. I only caught a bit of it, maybe it is recorded somewhere.

The presenter was a Cambridge fan so was asking him about his time there and his move to us. DK said that Cambridge had accepted a £1M offer from Cardiff and 1 other for him, then ITV Digital went bust, the offers were withdrawn, clubs like Cambridge were suddenly worried about their finances due to the lost ITV Digital money and RFC were first to pick up on that, chanced their luck with a quick low offer which Cambridge accepted.

good work us

I think when he or if he gets his badges (he may already) he will be a good one. The way he comes across.

Two page spread in the NLP today for Jamie C (pages 2&3)

Scored two more yesterday...could still do it in the leagues I’m sure....slowly stepping into management meantime.

So who do you reckon was the player mentioned at the end of the interview, that Steve Coppell got rid of very quickly because he was a bad influence, flashing the cash and achieving nothing, sat in the stands because he couldn't get in the team?

Kitson's comments about players like that being really bad in the changing room do make me think of walking past the current players' cars after another home defeat, looking at the Bentleys and Ferraris parked there.

Fae or Halford presumably. Speaking of Fae, just looked him up and he retired at 28.

Ye I was going to say it's most likely to be Fae. What's he up to now then?
