I think this may well be Clement realising that Kelly and Swift are not up to it. No idea if this lad is any good. He did play in the World Cup finals and would carry a physical presence.

This is confirmed. On wiki he's nicknamed the Persian Pogba. 6'3'' central midfielder.

I’d say more likely doesn’t think Meyler is much cop. 3 goals in 73 appearances in Mickey Mouse leagues doesn’t exactly scream creative midfielder.

On a side note, is there a limit to loans? I think I’ve worryingly asked this before but can we replace the whole effing team with 6 month loans on a revolving basis? I know it’s not a recipe for success by any means but at least that way when we are shit I only have to put up with the same pcunts for a few months rather than dickhead mcfcukface signed from the andorran 4th division on a 5 year 25k/week contract.

God we’re such a joke of a club.

Anyway welcome to Reading Said. The best part is you don’t even have to be good to look good in this team just don’t be biblically shit.

How nice of you to not be bothered to spell his name. I imagine if his name was Smith you wouldn't have any trouble at all.

Just call him The Iron Sheik, that'll do.

Official confirmation in now.

Have no idea if he is any good but looks like he has something about him. Good to see we have made a move to bolster central midfield, where we are clearly weak.

No mention of us being done either, so whilst unlikely, could be one more today?

In for this. No real idea if he is any good but provides a bit of interest

Iran were pretty decent in the WC but can’t really remember him specifically

As mentioned our midfield hasn’t started well, so anything that may improve that is a good thing. Really need to get rid of some of the bloat in that area now

Edit: watched the YouTube clip against Spain, looks pretty good

I know nothing about him.

However, he's 21, has been playing in the Russian top flight for the past 3 years which is a half decent league and is a regular starter for the highest ranked country in Asia.

Potentially a decent signing.

There is no limit to how many loan players you can sign. Technically you could only have loan players on your books (known as ‘being Watford’)
You’d struggle to be competitive though as there is a rule that restricts you to 5 loan players in your match day squad.

I’d happily see Popa, Clement, Edwards, Jaakola and a few of the u23s out of the door today. Doubt it will happen though

Of the u23 I’d like to see Tyler Frost get a decent loan spell. Ideally another of the centre backs would go and get a solid year in Div 2 but with Andresson already on loan we probably want to hand on to the other 3. Not sure there are any other obvious candidates for a loan as I’d like to see Loader involved with our first team rather than playing elsewhere.

A classic football manager signing, now this is a signing that you really can’t judge on any level until he’s kicked a ball

I’d happily see Popa, Clement, Edwards, Jaakola sent via cargo ship to Outer Mongolia and left there to fend for themselves.
