Jagermesiter1871 ITK - a coach I know at the club said months back that Gourlay was sucking morale out of the club with his spending cuts. He also said that Tevreden is a bell and all the players take the piss out of him and his blingy lifestyle.
Now with Gourlay, spending cuts are never popular with staff but they might be, and pretty much definitely are, necessary.

Theajaxway BT has been the worst thing that has ever happened to Reading.
The recruitment has been schoolboy at best with foreign players coming in on big money when academy talent is sat on the sidelines.
They then slip out the side door on loan to some div2 Dutch side....where Andre is banging in goals for fun!!
Moving forward the new accadamy manager seems like a positive in all this mess. The accadamy sides continue to produce quality, it would be nice to see them get an opportunity in the first team!
Let's hope the Recruitment and management of players improve now the Dutch dufuss is out of the picture!
Onwards and upwards....up the royals!!!!

Hound Wouldn’t be massively suprised to see him back at Reading as CEO one day. Owners obvs like him and maybe Roselare is experience for Gourlay’s replacement when the time comes

El Diablo Ahh bless. All those poor employess at RFC , whove been given a kick up the ass by their Boss.
We've been drifting on & off the field for 5 years. About time someone came in and gave the place a shake.
Tevreden going is no loss.

Zip It would seem that Watts is a lot closer to all of this than Jonathan Low even though he stopped reporting on Reading a good while ago.
