Yeah think I'm done now. I can't back a side like that, they are completely spineless. Chris Gunter should be euthanised.

I`ve defended Gunter over the last few days, but tonight he was just awful. mind he wasn`t alone, far from it.

I've defended him for years, never had an issue until now really. He's just so oxf*rd shit yet constantly gets picked. We were so much better with him out the team, how is Clement not seeing that?

With the possible exceptions of Moore, Swift, Barrow, maybe Yiadom who was played out of position tonight, you could drop everyone else en masse and play the under 23s with the effect on the team being minimal.

Why was Yiadom played at left back? He was uncomfortable there and Gunter has played there before. Not having a specialist left back now for two seasons has hurt us a lot. It's such an important position in the scheme of things and has simply not been addressed.

strap So where do we go from here? Seems the senior players don't give a flying oxf*rd about RFC or indeed the manager.

Frankly it must be time to use some of the U23's - they could hardly do any worse than the current shower. Clement seems to have a total blind spot when it comes to youth. Sure they will be naive and make mistakes - but would they be as gutless as the current 1st Xi shirt holders? I think not. Aluko should never put on an RFC shirt again. What is Clement's love affair with Meite? The defence is supposed to be our strongest unit!! Well actually the midfield and attack do support that view, despite our keeping a single clean sheet in the first 10 games of the season!!

I thought Clement was supposed to be an ace coach? Well tonight's debacle suggests the exact opposite.

Sorry, I'm just sounding off after yet another pathetic "performance". As the Americans would say - I've got nothing ..

Where do we go from here?

Down mate. Obviously.

Old Man Andrews Chris Gunter should be euthanised.

I mean being dropped from the team is probably the more humane option

sandman Did someone at the club get confused and sign the wrong Aluko? Starting to think we wanted to sign Eni for the women's team and accidentally signed Sone.

Norfolk Royal Someone else has mentioned it already but I thought it was quite telling how when there was an injury stoppage, I think in the second half, the Norwich players gathered together and geed each other up while ours stood miles apart, hands on hips, motionless. Something is wrong when that is happening.

Also, can we have some ball boys. it took an age to get the ball back and this played into the hands of the away team trying to waste time.

It did cross my mind that the atmosphere is so bad at the club at the moment that few parents would actually want to subject their children to it.

I mentioned it earlier. At the time it was happening in front of where i was sitting. I kept willing someone in a Reading shirt to get all the players together. We needed to regroup more than Norwich yet it was their players that took the opportunity.

As you said it spoke volumes about this team and their (lack of) spirit

Yeh, and what happened to the motivational team huddle from the Jobi days?

Nowadays, at kick off, they wander around and have a hand tap and nod with each other as if they’re at an IT sales conference
