Would say Bod's Reading career, in a woeful side, has been very underrated. One small light amongst a wealth of shitness

+1

Obviously not the most technically gifted but he works his socks off (more than can be said for a lot of this team), and seems to be adding more goals this season.

I think we should persist with him and one of Baldock/McNulty and give them time to form a partnership, can't really see any of them holding down the lone striker role.

This.

However 2 up front would require someone (anyone) who could actually tackle in midfield. Which we STILL don't have.

Meyler's clearly not up to the job and nor is Bacuna.

I guess we can only hope Ezatolahi is the answer

4 for Walker?  Some great saves, very good distribution, and could do nothing about the two goals. What more could you honestly ask for with no real defence in front of him?

Well you sound very mature and sensible, probably not got any tattoos.

I’m 54 my darling sans tattoos. Old school, I suppose.

Eh? I’d heard you’ve got one of Michael Meaker on your cock.

That's me. I've got the entire First XI for the relegation season on there.

Can I just say that it was Mrs Leon who first started the rumour about our former Welsh winger and my dick. Mrs Leon and I are just good friends of course. 8)

Platypuss
Theroyalbox Moore and Illori fine, keep, good CB partnership who will improve when the team around them is better.

I thought Ilori was terrible tbh, just too weak for a CB. Moore adequate.

I thought Ilori was ok but along with Moore he made a right mess for Norwich’s winner

FiNeRaIn People talking about league one being a disaster for this club could well be right, but they better start setting their expectations now. There is no way there are three worse teams than this lot. The whole culture of the club from the top down is rotten and its directly reflected on the pitch. No skill, no tactical awareness, a lack of effort with some players, a losing mentality and no fight or grabbing games by the scruff of their necks when they are in the balance.
When we go down lets hope for a huge turnover in both playing and coaching personnel. Lets finally balance the books and silly contracts, get rid of the deadwood and lets blood the young guys and lower league players who WANT to be here to prove themselves. Yes we might not recoup much for the likes of Aluko, Gunter, Swift, llori, etc but they've shown enough in their careers at certain points that people will take their contracts off our hands, there are always panic buyers. I'd much rather watch 7 youth academy players find their feet and lose than 11 signed seasoned pros who are god awful. We're going down, start making a list of league one grounds you haven't visited and the pies you haven't tried and make peace with it.

PotD. Spot on.

Snowball Just checking and Bod has now scored 4 goals in just 389 minutes
on the pitch.

Two of his sub appearances were as LW

3/4 of his goals have been when he's started so we can't say it's "subs find goals easier"

Overall in 2017-18 he has made 43 appearances (almost a full season's worth)
but many not 90 minutes, for 2348 minutes and got 14 goals and two assists

That's a goal every 167 minutes, a goal or assist every 147 minutes

and still he isn't an automatic choice?

5 in 483 now, a goal every 96 minutes

Overall in 2017-18 he has made 44 appearances (almost a full season's worth)
but many not 90 minutes, for 2442 minutes and got 15 goals and two assists

That's a goal every 162.7 minutes. goal/assist every 143.6 minutes

Stop championing Bod, he's mine. I saw him first and we're not allowed to agree.

I think I’ve backed him more than anyone since day 1 tbh

Do like the big man. Gives his all every game and is a pain in the backside to play against
